A small time, high school band created for the joy of Musical Humour. This band's founder was the one and only, John Hurkmans. Now John, being John, thought 'hey, a Band-o-Rama is coming up, and why dont we throw together a band to humilate ourselves on stage, in front of a large studio audiance ?'. John was way ahead of his time. He then went around and found a number of people to play in this band, which was later dubbed SPIT!. Their first preformance included some songs, the only ones I remember are 'Paint it black', 'Brain Damage' and i think 'You' was also played. the members at that time included, John Hurkmans <Harmonica>, Dave Tansley <Bass>, Drew Foster <drums>, Matt Buckle <vocals, guitar>, and of course everyone's friend Billy Sotnikow <No one is ever entirely sure>. various others joined, like Mark <insert overlong polish name here> and some guy i never cared to get the name of. After humiliating themselves for the greater good of the school, some decided to keep playing and writing songs. eventually a demo tape was made in someones bassment with a mic hanging from a ceiling. The members at the time of recording were Drew, Bill, Matt and Dave. To cover the absence of talent, SPIT! decided to add another member. Jimi Bursaw joined the band and they began moving to better things. They humiliated themselves at a dive called Dee's while opening for the ever popular Spiral and played one final show in the metropolis of Dunnville. There final show was a raging success and the bands final success as well. Now, some have moved on and are in real bands, Like Age Lace. The rest of the bands will get a plug later.
